SPT-OSFP-MVR4 400G OSFP VR4 Gen2 Optical Transceiver

Product Overview

SPT-OSFP-MVR4 400G OSFP VR4 Gen2 optical transceiver is designed for use in 400G Ethernet links up to 50m over OM4/OM5 and 30m over OM3 multi-mode fiber. The module converts 4 channels of 100Gb/s (PAM4) electrical input data to 4 channels of parallel optical signals each capable of 100Gb/s operation for an aggregate data rate of 400Gb/s. On the receiver side the module converts 4 channels of parallel optical signals of 100Gb/s each channel for an aggregated data rate of 400Gb/s into 4 channels of 100Gb/s (PAM4) electrical output data. An optical fiber cable with a single MPO-12 connector can be plugged into the OSFP400 400G VR4 module receptacle. Host FEC is required to support up to OM4/OM5 50m fiber transmission.
