Application
SPFC-NV-144H-2/18A Dome Closure is a member of dome closure, used for the products' straight through connection in the optical transmission process, provides protection for the joint connection.
Features

- The outer box body is made of high-strength engineering plastics, it has features of light weight, high mechanical strength, anti aging, strong corrosion resistance, lightning resistance, and long service life
- There are 16 circular cable ports and 1 oval port, totally 17 cable ports, among them 1 oval port can be used for cable loop through
- Stacked structure splice tray makes the fiber core configuration flexible, the independent insulation grounding device makes it safe and easy to operate; the optical fiber core configuration, expansion and the cable grounding flexible, convenient and safe
- Type 3 splice tray is provided with dedicated PLC splitter slots for 1:8 or 1:16 PLC splitter
- It can be used for overhead, pole, wall and underground installation with good sealing performance

Installation Steps
- Optical cable stripping:
- Loop through cable (unbroken cable): mark the cut point of the sheath, strip about 180 cm or according to the relevant requirements
- Broken cable: Peel off a pair of optical cables to be connected, remove the cable protective layer from the mark, peel off 120cm sheath, and maintain the internal integrity
- Open the port: According the requirement, use a saw to cut the cable port
- Install heat shrinkable tube: Put the heat shrinkable tube on the peeled cable, introduce it into the closure
- Fix the cable: After the optical cable enters the box, locked it with hose clamp, fix the reinforced column with presser, introduced the docked cables into splicing tray for splicing
- Heat shrinkable sealing: Wrap the junction between the optical cable and the heat shrink tube with tin foil to avoid overheating and damaging the cable. Heat the cable with a torch until the heat shrink tube is completely attached to the port. Wait till it to cool naturally (note: when heating the oval port, separate the heat shrink tube with a dividing clip)
- Cover installation: After operation completed, place a sealing ring in the groove of the base, put the cover on and lock them with a plastic clamp
- Wall & pole mounting operation: Fix the tray to the bottom of the product with 4 screws, then connect two L-shaped brackets to the tray with bolts
Installation Methods
- Wall mounting: Use expansion screws to lock the L-shaped bracket with the wall
- Pole mounting: Connect the pole holding component with the L-shaped bracket, and lock the arc part and the connecting component with the long bolts
