4. Installation Steps
The installation of this waterproof adaptor must be performed strictly in the following order to ensure waterproof performance and fiber optic connection quality:
- Disassemble the Product: Disassemble the adaptor and connect it in series with the fiber optic patch cable.
- Remove the Protection Module: Pull out the fiber optic socket protection module on the adaptor.
- Insert the Fiber Optic Plug: Insert the plug of the fiber optic patch cable into the adaptor's fiber optic socket.
- Tighten the Intermediate Ferrule: Securely screw the intermediate ferrule together with the connector.
- Place the Silicone Waterproof Gasket: Place the silicone waterproof gasket into the clamping collar of the intermediate ferrule.
- Connect the Waterproof Gasket to the Cable: Slide the silicone waterproof gasket onto the fiber optic patch cable.
